hi everyone. I currently wear a heuer carrera 1553 and have owned several vintage omegas, vintage Rolexes and a few heuers. I was on eBay the other night and saw this. It was advertised as a 1945 universal Geneve. It was only a few hundred so I bought it. Then I bought Pietro Giuliano Salas book and looked at markings inside the very well made case and it dates it to pre 1937. It is small 25mm x 35mm but a very well made watch and movement going strong. I wound up yesterday and still going and keeping perfect time. Wondered what people thought as I know very little about universal Geneve. How about a movement shot - I'd be interested to know which calibre is in it?

It’s beautiful! I am not an expert but the hands do look like they belong to a 30s watch! Congratulations! I have a newer (60s) in 18 k. I prefer yours! Where did you find the book? I cannot find one...

It’s not a bad movement. It runs for just under 40 hours on a full wind which considering its 90 plus years old, I think is very good
