dunno ... remember ... there is an asking price ... but there is also the compromised agreed upon price [if u can talk them down] ... negotiate ...

If the hands and the lume are OK, what would be reasonable price in your opinion?

food for fodder ... consider ... except for ROLEX who does not allow their authorized dealers to reduce their MSRP .... other watch companies give their authorized dealers a little wiggle room ... to max level of 30 % ... so for example an ORIS 65 re issue can be bought 30% off MSRP if the dealer is willing to go that far [max level] start @ 30 percent off then ... 25 ... 20 ... etc ... etc

also ask if the CRYSTAL is original. Does it have the small Omega logo etched dead center of the plexie ? if it is not ... u could use that as additional item to knock down price a little more ..

hey guys so, ive been recently looking at seamaster 120 and found 1 that sells at a reasonable price, he said its a ref 166.027 cal 563, let the pics talk. (the seller said he cant open the caseback cuz he doesnt have the tools)
whats the difference between the 565 and 563?
notice the big round center of the second hand and the bump on the crown.
maybe someone can share their opinion(s)? cheers!

I'd want Gemini4 to weigh in, but nothing about it looks fake to me. The case and back look very polished and the dial has some issues, specifically around the 9 marker. The crown looks incorrect as well.

I appreciate the owner not wanting to damage the case back but for the money these go for, I'd want to see the movement.

All comes down to the price I suppose and what "reasonable" means.

first of all, thx for the inputs guys! its not the dial that has issues, but the owner did say the crystal has crackings from aging which u might be mistaken for the dial issue. yes i agree on the crown, i think I'm letting this one pass, not risking it. cheers!

If you're interested, I've got a new set of minute and hour hands for that watch to sell.

I have a ladies size, 566.00007 auto movement Caliber 681. It's been looked at by a ruputable watch specialist so I am pretty sure it's authentic, and your description of the features of an authentic watch seem to be present on mine. I do have a question for you experts. The bezel on mine has a little resistance but will move freely in either direction. It does not click and "lock" in place. Is this normal or do I likely need a new bezel spring? Also, any thoughts on value if I sold it? I don't really have interest in the ladies size. Thanks.

at this time period for this specific model [ 120 ] ... the bezel rotates freely in both direction [ friction mounted ] .. resistance [ hard to rotate ] could be due to the fact the it needs cleaning ...

Here's mine, as seen in my avatar photo and below . It will be on sale soon (once I get over 200 posts)

hmmmcamu, AFAIK this is not a ladies' watch. It's a unisex watch from the times where small sized watches were more popular than today among men. I have a 7,5inch wrist and wear it from time to time

the 120 came in both Manual and automatic ... and came in Mens [37mm] ........ and a smaller version for the Ladies version ....... my 37mm Omega 120 .... on my 7 1/2" wrist .... if UR 120's case is smaller than 37mm .... then that would be the ladies version ...

Hi, just saw this thread and I really love it!
Here two of my No Date 120 with 552 caliber: the one on the left seems fading brown!
They are on the the original 1098 bracelet, but can also come with a 1069 or an elastic 1067 bracelet..I will post them on these two bracelet soon if it could help!
Really love this watch, a real classic!
