Approximately 4 months ago I posted on this form for help on how to properly have these two watches restored and still maintain the integrity of their age and wear. Thank you all for the help and suggestions and quality watchmakers.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to post a photo. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Yes it is. Both were completely cleaned and serviced and are in full working order. There were a few Omega parts such as pusher for Flightmaster which took time to locate and ship but well worth the wait and expense.. I may should have written that as EXPENSE.. was very costly but good to see them in good order.

I fully believe it. But the end result is great and now you can wear them without concern.

Very nice. I notice that you were able to find a bracelet for the flightmaster that you asked about in your initial thread. Could you share where you found it, and an idea as to the price? Also do you know what the difference between the 1162 and the 1162/172 bracelets is. Love your flightmaster.
On saying that, interesting the gap between the crystal and the case. I have not seen it so pronounced before. Mine has the service dial, though some years back I went and bought new pushers etc, hands, crystal, case back and had someone install them for me. Still have all the old bits..

Beautiful ones, congratulations and they seem to be fully original pieces! 👍

That Big Blue is a looker, in all states of condition and yours has a very nice dial and overall appearance!

Usually the BB’s have had a lot of their dials, inner and outer bezels swapped for service parts due to degradation over time. Wear in good health!

That's a real good story to read here. Nice to see that both watches still keep their story. Making the watches looking like new one by letting Omega do this job is like to steel the soul of them. Fantastic job done. Congratulations.

Lovely watches, congrats. Presuming they’re all running well you should divulge the watchmaker, I’m always adding to a list of recommended names.

Flightmaster pushers are readily available from Omega, and not any more than regular Speedmaster pushers are...not sure who you used but it sounds like they may have been buying them on the secondary market, which will drive costs up for sure.

Good results though.

Nice pair, I am a fan of the helmet case Omega tool watches of this period. Very individual and quite a statement.

I think finding an original pusher for the Flightmaster would be a worthwhile mission. I cannot bear the service replacements.

How many teeth and feet there are on my Speedmaster crown doesn’t bother me, but this really does.

Big Blue is fantastic! Always been a favorite of mine. When the right one comes along I will be jumping on it.

I had stem problems with the Blue and something also with the crown
May have been the problem parts. The missing pusher was on Flightmaster.
Also I have no idea difference between 1162 & 1162/172 if someone could explain.
Will post watchmaker I used.
