Movado Triple Date - run or gun?

Hi guys, it's my first thread here in this forum. Being very new here, looking forward to learning more about watches with the community!

I just happen to stumble on this Movado that interests me to be my first 'proper' vintage - which I believe is a Triple Date ref. 14816. Yet stamped on the case back shows 14849 instead (might be wrong). A thing for sure is that it has a solid gold bezel and a worn out gold cap (to my knowledge).

Do any of you might have info on the actual reference or model of this piece?

Moreover, I'm having mixed thoughts on whether its a redial (not sure whether the outer date ring comes in blue) or is it legit. I'm definitely reaching dead ends trying to find more info and pictures to compare this piece with since I have literally found nothing on this.

Seller is asking $500, would it be a run or gun in your personal opinion?

Dial looks original too me, never seen that pointer hand before. Solid gold

I believe the date pointer with the round disc at the end is correct.

But agree with the hard pass assessment provided earlier. I believe this is a watch you’d regret buying after the passage of a few weeks or months time. Nicer examples are out there, so I’d counsel a bit of patience and keep looking.
