MadDog
Maybe I missed it. Where did the DENT come from?
That dent was from Katy’s bike dump #9…or maybe it was bike dump #10…possibly bike dump #11.

Wasn't sure where to post these pics so as this is the Motorcycle thread . I live about 5 minutes from the Truimph factory in Hinckley and this is the first time I've ever been there , great cafe too. The truimph experience is free and has two floors worth of exhibits .

That looks like a great exhibit, thanks for sharing. I recently sold one of the new Triumphs, it really was a good bike.

Today was the first day I actually went back to the beginning of this thread. Lots of beautiful and interesting bikes. Since we are posting bikes we used to own, here is the only bike I bought new. My VFR-800, the nicest bike I've owned and the prettiest IMHO. I bought the Honda wing decals in a Honda shop during a trip to Tokyo so there are probably not a lot of VFRs around with those.

I rode it from Florida to a little bit over the border in California and back in 11 days. Sorry about the crappy camera, this was way back in 2008 😁

"Two" other bikes I've owned ( I had two Suzuki SV-650s, a 80ish gentleman in a Crown Victory totaled the first one while I was riding to work one day.) The Majesty was the least cool but most comfortable two-wheeled ride I've owned and got me through over a year with no car, even in the wintertime. That is my first Miata in the background.

I posted my current bike back on page 2, but I found this old photo of me riding around India back in ‘96 with the Enfield Bullet I bought. My girlfriend (now wife) took the photo.

The season starts soon!

2009 Triumph Bonneville SE standard except; gel seat, performance exhaust and old "western" handle bars.

Anyone recognise this Triumph 500 rider?

Wow thanks for the pics.
I've had a few Trumpets and also have Barbour and Belstaffs which Steve McQueen helped make famous.

I've got a red one - took it all the way from CA to Quebec City and back (South route on the way out and Northern route back) - took more like 3-4 months, but it was the best time I ever had on a bike!

Love the black model - I've never actually seen that color. Only red and yellow around here.

I had one of these around 2000 but not for long.
It was tall, heavy and with the narrow bars being on risers shouldn't have handled, but did.

I got rid of it and got a TT600 but don't know why ??Mine was the same as this with a little headlight fairing and a seat cowl.

I prefer retro bikes to have spoked wheels so it was perfect and the handling was that good I could have sports bikes ie blades and R1's on toast on twisty roads.

It was supposedly a replica of the Craig Vetter designed Triumph Hurricane.

T'other Trumpets I like are the Bobbers and Thruxtons

First ride for me today in about 7 months because of reasons and winter. Longest I’ve ever had a bike sit without running. She stuttered for a few seconds but otherwise fired right up and ran like a top as always. Thinking I’ll get more riding in this year than last.

I didn't get home for a year during Covid. Charged the battery on the FJR (Gen 2 like yours) and it started second push of the starter. Best bike I have owned. It'll be going in to semi-retirement soon when a new Tracer9GT arrives.

Great combo! Colour co-ordinate watch and bike, very nice both of them.
