TLDR

Only the “Classic Four” are available online:
Mission on Earth
Mission to the Sun
Mission to the Moon
Mission to Mars

And only available online to those located in the US or China.

PS. In no way should this post be taken to mean that I like the Moonswatch.

PPS. Scarecrow Boat is correct

Too little, too late.
Probably, but I'll also probably snag the white moonphase model when they get around to selling it online.

I’m not sure about the current popularity of the Moonswatch and all it’s variants these days.but whilst Christmas shopping in a Sheffield shopping mall today I came across a pop up swatch boutique.to my amazement almost all versions were available, including snoopy and blancplan.( Sheffield is in the UK!)

I was in the Mall of America in MN last summer and stopped in the Swatch store; they had one in stock: the white moonphase! Bought it, of course.

I'm not a huge fan of the other models style-wise, I do like the thrifty fathoms but can't quite to get there for $400 given I have about 10 other Sistem 51s with an average price of $100, but I still may get one if the mood is right.

So your expectation was immediate & infinite production capacity for a new risky product?

MoonSwatches were released in March 2022 and, sure, demand was WAY higher than they anticipated, but how could it not have been???

Swatch Group would've been insane to pre-run 10M units and/or build new factories in anticipation of huge demand.

As it is, they're running 2 factories 24/7365 and building addtional capacity, but it's only been 2.5 years! Further, at this price point, these aren't products that can put on a legit waitlist, that'd be nuts too.

So, yeah, lack of immediate gratification can be frustrating, but it's still a luxury product from a luxury product company which, by definition, will have limited production.

It wasn’t the production quantities that lost me, it was the Swatch store locations. The nearest Swatch store is 600 miles away. Too far to travel on faint hopes the store might have a watch.

Yeah, I hear ya, though that's a downstream issue with demand outrunning production for a luxury product.

It was such a huge hit they couldn't sell it online or face massive waitlists which then couldn't be administered or maintained so they had to go to stores only and they're still not dug out ...

And now they have to consider the other risky proposition that demand drops off just as they've invested in production to meet it ...

Honestly I'm surprised they can sell any of them online this fast.

I wouldn't mind the Mission to the Moonphase "New Moon" (black Snoopy) but there are no Swatch stores in my state, they don't sell it online, and I won't buy it used or for a markup - so no MoonSwatch for me. If they get to the stage eventually where all models are available online, I'd jump aboard the hype train.

Well, it's interesting ... I wonder if these 4 will be it for the online versions since:
1.) Swatch is profitable for the first time in a decade
2.) China is a huge market for MoonSwatches and maybe the store model works better there
3.) Swatch may be skittish about over-investing in production capacity

In any event, no Swatch stores around me either so the one Moonswatch I have was bought on a trip (which did add to the fun of it)
