I realise that this will probably be of interest only to newbies like myself but the Watchfinder & Co people have produced a video explaining how mechanical movements work in a way that I found very easy to understand.
I really like that Watchfinder channel. The scripts are well written, very nice photography, and the voiceover is calming.
I find this to be a good example of how a modern center-seconds movement is arranged (despite the obvious Tissot plugishness).
