·The mysterious tachy insert robber strikes again! This happened to my 3861. Omega put a new one on for free (but it took 10 weeks). Hope you can get it replaced!

·Personally, I think this great watch looks naked without its Tachy bezel.
My 3572.50's bezel insert has a slightly navy-blue reflection when it catches the light just right...I love that. But mine is a little dinged and I'm afraid that any modern replacement won't have the same color effect, so I am living with the dings.

·I dropped into my local boutique and they estimate it will cost $1,000 for the bezel and a full service. ~2 months. Does that sound about right?

Omega charges $750usd for a chronograph service, so that plus $210 puts you at $960. If you’re paying tax, your $1,000 is accurate.

·Yes--If the part is ~$200 and the full service is $850, it's a good quote.
