Lost the bezel on my 3572.50 Speedy

I put my watch on this morning and discovered that the entire bezel is missing. 🙁

Can anyone confirm if the Omega part number is 082SU1589? I’m worried that if I send it off for service I’ll get a non-original (possibly newer) bezel.

Thanks.

Ask astronauts Deke Slayton, Walter Schirra, James Lovell, Frank Borman... they'll all say " Now it looks better " !

The mysterious tachy insert robber strikes again! This happened to my 3861. Omega put a new one on for free (but it took 10 weeks). Hope you can get it replaced!

Personally, I think this great watch looks naked without its Tachy bezel.

My 3572.50's bezel insert has a slightly navy-blue reflection when it catches the light just right...I love that. But mine is a little dinged and I'm afraid that any modern replacement won't have the same color effect, so I am living with the dings.

Mine (1997 vintage, tritium) says hello:

The Steel bezel makes the Speedy look much " lighter " , I think....

Yes, modified with Mafia Dial , black hands and the bezel from Omega. Uncle Seiko BoR fits perfect as well. See - through back is on the way ...

Ha! I think it looks like an Aqua Terra.

I dropped into my local boutique and they estimate it will cost $1,000 for the bezel and a full service. ~2 months. Does that sound about right?

I really like the monochrome look and I’m sure the lightness of the bezel/dial look great out in the sun. Very nice!

I just bought a replacement bezel for my Speedy through my independent watch maker that has an Omega parts account. The bezel cost $210usd

Omega charges $750usd for a chronograph service, so that plus $210 puts you at $960. If you’re paying tax, your $1,000 is accurate.

Yes--If the part is ~$200 and the full service is $850, it's a good quote.

Just attaching these so that wrong prices are not given. Omega charges $750 for service, which they show on their website
