Lost bezel insert options 1991 Seamaster Pro 200 ST 396.1042

I received this watch from my wife on our 2nd anniversary 30 years ago. I had it sent out for reconditioning last fall and very recently I dove into the lake and when exiting the water I discovered that the bezel insert had departed.
I called the jeweler who sent the watch out to find out if it could be replaced and was told that it is discontinued.
I have only been able to find knock off parts on eBay, but was hoping someone here might have info on what, if any other or better options are for sourcing a used part or if someone can also confirm that indeed this is a part that can no longer be obtained new/old from Omega. Any help is appreciated as the watch has sentimental value to me and I want to wear it.

The watch isn't that old, as watches go. I would see whether you can get a new, complete bezel from Omega. As I recall, my watchmaker's store has the lowest level of Omega parts and was able to buy me a new bezel for my 2254.50, so it might not be terribly difficult.

Bezels for the Pre-bond Seamasters are no longer available from Omega. I think your only option is to set up an alert on ebay.

Thanks, You are correct. Spoke with Nesbit’s just now and a case replacement from Omega is about the only other option as it has been replaced. But that would cost about the value of the watch. Purchasing a problem watch with a decent bezel might be a cheaper option. I see them for as low as $400 currently. Will set up alert on ebay. Thanks for responding!
