Hello all,
I’m about to purchase this watch but cannot find any info on it. The seller says it’s a 2491-1 bumper Pre Seamaster ref 2576 from 1970.
Nothing on the internet about it And the missing « Swiss made » is a red flag. What do you think?
Thanks a lot!

So the seller says it's a 2491 and a 2576? I'm not sure it's either one TBH. But I have no problem with the watch,

It looks like a 2576 from circa 1949 to me. Should have a serial of around 11.4-11.7m

Regardless of the specific reference or year, the main issue for me would be the marks on the dial. Some of them are a bit distracting to me. But that is a personal decision. It's not easy to find a decent vintage Omega under $500 these days.

I'm not a fan of the right-side lugs. Top right is polished down much more than the others. Bottom right looks a little crooked, but maybe it's the angle? At the end of the day you'd probably also want some higher quality photos to get a better gauge of the dial.

Thanks everyone for your help. I decided to pass on this one. To much issues for me.
I found a 249404 Seamaster Calendar 18k for the same price. Very bad shape on the picture and I will go see it later but it will be a fun project to work on. Already see that original glass are available. The tough found will be a new crown.
but I like the adventure !
