@reficul_x who’s an extremely experienced collector was once scammed by someone who offered all of the guarantees you might want or imagine, he did and said all the right things yet the watch never arrived. And as I recall that was about 4000 dollars, not 40K.
If the watch never arrives, do you think international’law enforcement will make it a priority to seek redress for some rich guy who took absurd risks with his money because he wanted a piece of jewelery?
Don’t you think they’ve got enough work with terrorism and trafficking of all sorts?
40K is a bucket load of cash to send to someone unknown- to even consider it seems totally reckless — and I agree with those who say a 20% discount seems too good to be true if the item is in high demand.
