Hello, I have recently purchased a vintage Omega but am unsure if I’ve bought a fake. If anybody could point out anything that’s glaringly obvious I would appreciate it. Sorry for the quality of the pictures in advance.
A few concerns that I have are that the winder has the Omega symbol but seems to be a different colour than the case. The case back is silver whilst the case is gold. The movement doesn’t have much writing or decoration. Again, thanks in advance

Looks legit to me. The crown appears to have lost its gold plating. It's normal for a plated case to have a stainless back, and in the era that this watch was made, the movement was pretty utilitarian.

What Dan said, totally legit, but the case shows significant wear to the plating not just to the crown.

In conclusion it's a legit watch. Not a fake. Not very desirable for collectors who prefer stainless steel watches but still a nice watch. You will have the refeence number written inside the caseback and the serial number it's written small inside the circle from the mechanism.
