·Your first photo shows either scratches on the crystal or hairs under the crystal - both suggest that a service was not carries out competently, if at all
Did you clarify what has been done, and by whom wrt 2021 service?
Screw in the retaining plate for the date ring was missing and is replaced. Crystal replaced with a new omega crystal.” It also shows the results of tests in two positions. I’ve sort of taken this report with a grain of salt— it does not include any identifying information, i.e. company name, phone number, etc. I asked the seller if there was a transferable warranty, and was told that there was “no official warranty,” but that I could return the watch to him within the next six months if any issues develop. I’m sure this is not a binding promise, but it was stated via a chat on Chrono24, so at least there is an “official record” of it. As far as the scratches on the crystal, November 2021 was almost 4 months ago (obviously depending on when in November) and the watch was purchased by a private seller, so I would expect the watch to have been worn between then and now. They do not bother me. The fibers under the crystal may be of concern, if they are there. I’m away from the watch right now, but in that photo it appears to me that the fibers are on the outside of the crystal. If you look above the the 12 o’clock position, you can see another of these fibers stuck to the bezel/top of the crystal, so I suspect that those are just from me handling the watch/packaging, but I’ll inspect further. There are two little “dimples” in the dial which suggests that it was mishandled at some point during service, but this was clearly visible in the listing photos and specifically pointed out in the description, so I knew what to expect. Thanks for the input and apologies for the lengthy response.
