Hi everyone,
Thinking of purchasing this guy here. Looks pretty good to me and original but I’m the furthest from an expert!
Thank you very much in advance for any comments!

Care to elaborate
What's it gonna' cost ya?
I don't find the dial particularly attractive, the soft-ish case another turn off. If it's cheap then sure.

Ok thanks, softish as in polished a fair bit? I thought it looked pretty sharp. Glad I posted!

I would not say its overpolished (look at the overall lug facets shapes though).
And taking another look, if the dial was in better shape I probably wouldn't mind the case.
But the way most dealers light their watches when shooting tends to hide signs of polish.

As noted previously, it's not a top-notch example, so it all depends on price.

I thought this was a friendly place...

Friendly it is but we need more than just a few photos if you intend on purchasing. If you say $2000 we will give different advise to you saying $500.

Help us help you.

I am sure he'd pay more than $100.

Mostly very experienced collectors on this site and ..... he was friendly !!! I thought they were way worse to ne. Stick around ... someone will help you eventually.

I'm far from a expert and your pictures are not the best but I think you wouldn't want to pay much more than $ 700 for the watch. Unless you love it.

Assuming a mint example is $1500-1800, the price seems fairly fair to me. But ultimately would you be happy with a dial like that? Selling the watch on will be harder too.

The dial shot looks like it has been softened a bit.

I bet you would get a different looking watch when you received it and viewed it in natural light.
