Another one of mine I seldom wear, but I find the watch (and lugs) quite appealing. Gold filled, manual winder from the '60s.

May I ask what caliber and case reference this is?

Just so the other contributors know, all the LeCoultre pictures are of the same watch.

Yes, just like many NJ residents, it moved south to Florida in it's golden years. 馃槣

Have I missed something here...?! Is it because we are on OMEGAforums that no one has put forth the best (dog)leg?

Just so I'm clear, is there a forum policy against posting the same watch in various threads (and, incidentally, on different days?).
If so, I can think of a number of Speedmaster shots (and Constellations too) that could be cleared to create a bit of space on those servers.
Of course, the repetition is much more noticeable when the watch is a very rare one like this JLC. (Guess people had enough of it though... Never mind then. Enjoy those Speedmasters....)

Great lugs, @styggpyggeno1. But did you just limit your posts to Omegas? I'm sure you have other cool lugs that are non-Omegas. Please share when able 馃榾

Hey - I have been posting the same pictures over and over again for years and most of the guys here has not realized it (yet).

You're spot on, 1943 to be precise.

Wow, beautiful ! I nearly bought one I really liked from the same period. What caliber is it? (apologies for thread hijack, am still recovering from my most prided acquisition being exiled to the North Pole).

Well, you probably have much more of a "reserve" to cover your tracks than me since I'm an enthusiast and not a collector --plus I've now blown my piggy bank for the next 10 years so the options will soon run out, but hey, I looked through my drawers and found a great watch I hadn't posted yet.

Real nice chinese quartz movement, I even gave meself a hand relume to match the dial:

And if all else fails, I could still call a mob of mad, vengeful squirrels to the rescue:

May I add a couple of old unusual lugs?

First the quite standard securitas hinged lug on a trench watch:

Also articulated, this nice T17 CK695 from around 1940 :

Then a 23.7 ST2 MG957 from around 1929 ('Armure') :

ret-dsc_8476_005-jpg.219376

And this T17 CK 966 from around 1940 also has interesting lugs :

More to come if you're interested.
