As I was staring into the beauty that is the Speedmaster Dial this morning while the dogs were romping in the backyard, I noticed a peculiarity that, even after looking through MoonWatch Only, was not answered: look at these S’s on the “Swiss Made” lettering. They are both symmetrical and identical to each other, but they differ from the first “S” in the writing, which is a bit odd, no? And also the “E” in MADE seems to have been eroded. Any explanations?
