·Up for sale from my private collection is this nice Longines Hi-Beat diver
at a glance
Longines Ultra Chron diver ref 7970-1 from 1969
- cal. 431, in house hi-beat caliber (36.000 bph) very clean
- original dial and hands with original tritium lume
- solid steel case 40 mm in unpolished condition
- original Longines rotating bezel with original insert (undamaged)
- original Longines crown (signed)
- original vintage Longines solid stee buckle
the dial
Original dial in excellent condition, lume shows a nice And even patina.
the case
Very good condition, no dings or scratches to case or bezel. Sharp edges and correct original finish. All shapes symmetric and consistent. I think it was never polished. Caseback shows very slight marks but also original finish, very nice.
the movement
Very clean Longines in-house caliber ref 431 (hi-beat) which barely sows any tool or service marks. Adjusted to 4 positions and temperature. The watch winds and sets very smooth and the movement is running strong. There is no known service history.
the strap
The Longines comes on a 22mm topic style rubber band with original buckle
the price
I am asking 990 Euro net to me for this excellent Ultra Chron Diver. Bankwire is preferred, paypal please add 4% (payment to be done in Euro please). The watch and I are located in Germany. I will be happy to work out the best shipping option with you. Free EMS shipping is included!
