Longines 7970-3 Ultra Chron Diver Chronometer Dial / Movement REDUCED

Hey everyone,

I've decided to part with this rare chronometer dial Longines 7970-3 diver to fund another purchase as this isn't getting the wrist time that it deserves. Listing this exclusively on OF for a week or so.

I have never seen another 7970 with a chronometer dial and movement. This detail pushed me to obtain a Longines extract to verify the validity behind the chronometer title of this particular watch. The extract obtained accompanies the watch.

The Longines chronometer 431 movement is running as it should with no issues at 36,000 BPH. This thing is keeps time just as good as some of the most reliable watches I have ever owned.

Cosmetically it is in great shape and all original other than the Staib shark / mesh bracelet.
-Lugs are sharp
-Case measures about 40-41mm without crown.
-The dial and hands are in great vintage, original condition.
-The crystal has minimal signs of wear.
-Signed original Longines crown.
-The case back has some noticeable scratches as shown in photos.
- Comes on a 1 month old German made 170mm Staib mesh / shark bracelet meant to fit 22mm lugs.
- Longines extract accompanies the watch
