Oh no, you are absolutely right, the minute hand is too long. They have it going to the 450 in the track on every press release picture. I really hope they fix that for the production run!

Sadly, it doesn't look like they did. More sadly, I just noticed yesterday the subdials are reversed. Maybe I'm a stickler, but I don't think I could be be happy with these types of oversights.

Some lovely watches in this range, certainly an improvement on the large range of bland, boring Longines watches I saw in an AD yesterday. Looking forward to seeing this new range in the flesh.

Thanks for the link. Strongly considering this one if it crosses the border.

Same here for the Tux time-only.

Odd question, but has anyone seen what the caseback design is expected to look like? I'd actually love to get this model as an EOY gift commemorating an important date for someone, so for once inscription room might actually be nice. I've seen the projected/expectation pic on Hodinkee, but does anyone know if that's official yet?

I believe there's a video in YouTube already showing off both the chrono and the time-only.

Thank you for this! I had seen his chrono video but was more interested in the time-only piece personally. Time-only measures 38.5 mm, 12mm thick, 50mm lug to lug. The domed crystals are fantastic, love the big crown, however I would prefer a manual wind piece and not an automatic. Here's the direct link; caseback shown at the 5:20 minute marker, outdoor shot at 8:00 minute marker:

It caught my attention because I have been looking for something close to this old (redialed) Rolex piece I had but didn't keep.

I am struck by these designs. They have really captured the rich history.

When I first started collecting Longines watches, most of what they sold were the thin gold plated or steel watches or the late 1990s conquest that started to become dated pretty quickly. It didn't reflect the history of the company/manufactory at all.

It is pleasing to see these - there is strong connection to the past.

the heritage line is great, but 50mm L2L..why do that with a 38mm watch? the very peeps that like these watches want smaller. 47 would have been a solid choice. 48 would have been bearable as well for 7"

once you go to 49/50 it gets too dicey

here is a 40/47

i don't not want 3 more mm to the size. the longines look like horn lugs as well, which makes the fit even worse

Has anyone picked one of these up yet? I'm considering buying one. Wondering about legibility, and they also offer a version with BOR style bracelet:

What's everyone's take on the recently released Longines Hodinkee LE? I think it's quite handsome, I love the sector dial, small seconds sub-dial, the proportions are nice as well and the price isn't exaggerated like some of the other LEs they've released. I couldn't pull the trigger, I couldn't justify adding another piece in the collection. Did anyone on the forum pick one up yesterday?

There’s another thread. I think a few on here are getting them. They look nice. I tried the normal version on yesterday in London and they are nice watches. My only issue is the Crystal looks like a piece of plastic from the side. Very white/ milky but still a nice watch for the price point.

I grabbed one. Will post pix when it lands, though that may take a while, since we're away for a long stretch (finally).
