That is just perfect! Would absolutely love one of these.

That's my pick also. Such an elegant and purposeful piece. Definitely in on one of those.

I do wish these Heritage pieces would be a little quicker to land on the shelves. Still hard to find last year's novelties outside of a few major markets.

Longines are so on form this past couple of years, I think they're at the on top of the game with most brands showing nothing of much interest to me at all.

I can honestly say I like almost all of the watches shown in this thread. Brilliant as they're also superb value so totally not out of reach which is where most things I like fall.

I think Longines are perhaps my favourite brand right now, certainly in terms of design, quality and pricing.

If the diameter is correct (>38mm), and the cases not too thick, it could be a very interesting line here... Even if I would have prefer a serif dial on that MN... 馃檮

I think by 'revive' he meant to say the old glorious past of the brand.

This is exactly what I meant!

Ain't gonna happen... They are a mass market brand now
I think they always were 馃槈

Any sizing available on this? Crossing my fingers for 40mm or less! It really hits a lot of the right notes for me.

The Heritage MN also hits the spot. Found some more info here - https://dolinski.pl/longines-heritage-military-l2.833.4.93.2/

The sei tacche back is a great touch. The blackened superluminova is also interesting!

Also interesting, for the first time they did an exact replication of the fonts used on the Longines logo at the time- and which @DirtyDozen12 had analysed.
Previous heritage models did not replicate the logo so faithfully.

Is there anything else known about this model currently? Even my wife loves it.

Can't find much apart from this obscurish Polish website. It mentions "In stock"(via translate). Forgive me if I am sceptical about that , my AD couldn't find it in inventory that he could order.

Maybe/hopefully it is a post-covid release and that sei tacche version. I'd be happy to have either one.

Yeah same here tbh. Odd that amoung the details listed there for the watch there is no mention of case size. Looks fairly large on the wrist shot there. [EDIT]found it, 40mm. Price looks like it works out around 拢2,500 so will probably be more likely one of the 3 handers for me.

Thanks for the link.

Where'd you find this photo?

Also, why is the minute hand so long?

Oh no, you are absolutely right, the minute hand is too long. They have it going to the 450 in the track on every press release picture. I really hope they fix that for the production run!

Pushers are BIG. I like them smaller.

Yes they are but they are unobtrusive when worn. I have the black BigEye and smallish 6.75" wrist and the pushers are not bothersome at all, the thickness of the case keeps them elevated off the wrist.

These releases highlight the huge wealth of the most elegant and classic designs that Longines can leverage for producing new products.

I wonder how the company produced such exceptional designs from the 1930s onwards. Now that I think of it, I wonder if there are items in the archives that go into that sort of thing..

Any news on this? 馃グ

I put an enquiry to my AD who contacted his Longines people. He said that their response was "at earliest in Fall 2020".

This is from an official AD but it still sounded to me as a sort of "rumour". Nothing guaranteed so take this timetable with agrain of salt. Maybe Longines doesn't really know even themselves when they will ship these out. Depends on the Covid situation I would presume.

I like Longines' move towards heritage. However, how about mixing it with some innovation. Ordering personalized dials? So many amazing 1930's / '40 designs out there... Print your personal 13zn 馃榾
