Did you get it? I found it too.... but I did not buy it. Once on the wrist it didn’t « sing » to me as they say. It was a nice bike ride to the viewing though.
I only bid up to €1k, so we’ll above what I was prepared to spend. Neat watches though and that one was in particularly good condition.
I have one (but back in Melbourne). The case is the same but it has square font for the numbers. When I get back to Melbourne, I'll post a picture. I always wondered whether these would be worth anything.
Here it is, all Longines confirms it is a MN, but can't tell me if they ever made it like this. It's at the very end of the production run. Anyway, if a second one appears at some point, this one will be its sister. My gut feeling is that it is correct but admittingly, I have not seen one like it before. The dial and hands are radioactive so it's not something recent either way.
New MN spotted on eBay... Looks like this example is the latest produced known, just a tad younger than mine . Both have their back (having been) blank(ed).
@Syrte You right I haven't been clear, it's an old listingPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network. Haven't seen it flipped elsewhere, that dial stopped my bid on a pretty low level anyway... Was just curious about that blank back
Lat to the table, but this is a great resource and am very pleased you decided to share it. I am sure it will help many people who venture into the MN world. Myself included
The one with the skimmed case back which @Servius posted also resurfaced on IG - also in France- after it vanished from Ebay.
Stil scratching my head about this one... Ebay listing just finished last week. Very, very late serial number (7833XXX), case reference 5774, blank caseback...
