London Omega Boutique visit – quick report.

I was visiting London last weekend for a Lunch. I made time to pop into one of the boutiques.
It was very quiet and the staff were very helpful and knew their stuff. They told me their allocation for both Apollo 11 50th steel and the Moonshine gold had sold out. I forgot to ask about the new 321.
I did not take a picture but it does feel like there are just too many watches on display these days and it must be hard if you don’t know the brand.

In my short visit the two which I gravitated towards were the Apollo 8 and the London edition seamaster. I think my next purchase might be a dress watch although I am still loving my Globemaster which now has a metal strap option (I must make time to try that). The Venice edition and Singapore edition seamasters are also very special watches IMHO and it is frustrating the sales are limited by geography so I have not seen them in the flesh yet.
Lunch bankrupted me so I need to cut the calories / vino and save for my next timepiece :0)

Nice lunch! I own the Apollo and tried on the London seamaster. Nice watch but maybe a mm or two too big for what it’s suppose to be.

The LE I saw in royal exchange that I liked (surprisingly) was the Tokyo aqua terra. Pops a lot and I think reasonable value with both bracelet and rubber in the box.

I think that is the plastic seal over the crystal, the crystal underneath is fine.

That blue Seamaster looks lovely. Also, what's that weird-ass apple?

That London City Edition Seamaster looks absolutely gorgeous, even more so in the metal.

I hope I’ll be able to secure one someday soon.

Thanks for sharing, @Omegafanman! Btw; where did the serve you that apple accompanied by an apparently serious bill? Looks intriguing!

Yes, tell us about that apple, had something similar in Bray, also Launcestone Place had a pear like that at a halfway decent price. If I wasn’t Speedy only the London edition would be on the shortlist, the dial is gorgeous in the metal.

On the list for the London Edition. It is strange, but it seems you can buy the New York edition through the web site for £7,600.

Are you in London? There are a couple of London editions in the boutiques so wondered how long the list would be?

Thats plastic wrap. You can see it stretched between the lugs.

I think that's the plastic wrap.
