Hi guys, yesterday Omega announced on their Instagram page that they will be hosting a live session next Tuesday, to coincide with a #SpeedyTuesday, and asked people to bring questions. I’m hoping they give us more details about a standard production speedy pro with a 3861. What do you think?
That would be my first question. Also, what does the shutdown mean for the production and numbers of the 321 this year?
I highly, highly doubt there will be any model information in this chat. To me it just sounds like they're trying to keep their customer base engaged while we're all bored at home (and not buying things...) just like every other company
Probably correct, but they might just pull the old Steve Jobs trick, 'oh, one more thing' and then whip out the new gizmo. They have to gin up enthusiasm somehow when everything is in the ditch.
When will we get the total list NASA-flown Speedmaster chronographs (with #NASA) as NASM-NASA-Omega are working on updating these details ?
Not totally out of the question of course, we'll see. But unless any new models have already been produced, I don't think they'll want to introduce something new without the capacity to manufacture them for the next month or two
I would like to see what was going to be introduced this year, in general. Would love to see a 39-40mm 300m, and a black dial railmaster without orange. And a non shiny 300m would be even cooler
I hope Omega will release a Snoopy special edition to buoy us with hope and enthusiasm in the midst of these trying times.
I love everything about that piece except the size. If it was the standard 42mm or even 40mm it’d be almost permanently fixed to my wrist...
I double checked and Tuesday is the 31st March ... not April 1st ... Curious this wasn't announced by @Robert-Jan but maybe he wanted to wait untill Tuesday morning
The event is confirmed... might come from the renewed Omega museum in Bienne... Looking forward to this
Anyone watching this guy try to work the Instagram account? It’s absolutely hilarious. He’s so angry.
@Robert-Jan had an amazing story about a 1977 dead-stock Speedmaster chronograph from a store in Bogota... his birthyear Speedmaster !
