Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me, I love watches and I love the brand Omega, I want to buy my first luxury watch, I have seen a limited edition bond specter Omega sea master, blue face. I also want something that I can sell for similar or more money that I bought it for. Would anyone recommend this watch and is it going to be worth a lot more money in the future. Its between this Omega and a Rolex submariner brand new, both are just under £5000

If maintaining value is your main driver then, as stated, get the Sub.

Is there a Spectre blue face LE? If you're talking about the AT with the coat of arms contact Taz here and try to get his if it's not too late. Otherwise I would not expect it to hold value if purchased new. The moment you take the tags off its going to be an easy 20% lower.

Sub if you only want to loose a bit. Or a JLC at that price you might fair a touch better but don't count on making money on anything bought new at boutique or AD prices. If you find something let us all know...

Sub has an outdated movement that Rolex is in the process of replacing, I'd not be buying one at this point assuming you'll ever see your money back as when the new 32xx family Sub comes out everyone will dump their 116610s.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. I personally am OK if on the bigger picture I am close to breaking even. Too much stress to always expect to win.

if you dont want to lose money, go used all the way ... decent chance to make some money or at least not lose (if that is high on your priority list)
