My first Tri-Compax! Perhaps more accurately, my first ‘Tri Compax’ but let’s not get into that again here. I am looking after this one for a while courtesy of an esteemed member here and I couldn’t be more delighted to have it home. I can certainly see what all the fuss is about - what incredible little machines these are!

Welcome to the club! Yes, they are absolutely wonderful little machines, as you note, and gorgeously artistic ones at that! Enjoy - she’s a beauty!

I noticed you said your first! So does this mean you caught the bug and will be getting more?

Thanks a lot, M. That means a lot coming from the Tri herder-in-chief.

I know I’m very late to the party but watch this space!

Congrats, my man! Welcome to the club!

Cheers, A. I think these could really catch on, you know 😉

Terrific example, Larry and an especially gorgeous dial
This was also my first Tri. It has a deep OF pedigree although by the time I got wind of it, via Worn and Wound blog as I recall, it was for sale on Crown and Caliber. Royal Artillery number and initials on back. “incredible little machines” is exactly what I thought when I handled one in a Paris dealer. He wouldn’t sell it to me because he didn’t think I could care for it properly in the US. I was obsessed.
