Hi Erich,
The watch is pressure shut and not screw in back. I don't know the reference as it was produced before Omega replaced the case serial number by the case ref (Caliber 30T2 n°9347XXX and case n° 10073XXX). I don't know the reference so it could be a 2192. Do you have a picture of it, there is none on the Omega VDB).
BTW I remember now that we already discussed the ref of this watch here : http://omegaforums.net/threads/reference-2254-or-pretty-damn-close.8698/ 😉

Oh yes, now I remember - we have already discussed here...
The only way to "solve the riddle" is to order an extract from Bienne I guess.
BTW Ref. looks the same as Ref. 2244 (same case design) but with sub second instead of SC
take care
Erich

What an appropriate thread resurrection: just have my first manual wind in coming, cal. 265, 35mm case, don't know the ref. yet!

Many beauties shown on this thread, of course, yet it has been surprisingly devoid of one particular model. So, in an effort to balance things out just a bit...

I hope that you were also able to rescue that weird old Mercedes with the doors that opened upward.

Unfortunately missed the gullwing to a little old lady...

Thanks, Tamura. Have you seen that dial type or similar somewhere else also?

my three

left: ref 2179 cal 30T2... reserve after COA 37hours.
right: ref 2497 cal 30T2...reserve after COA 36 hours.
cal 267 in middle... reserve 33 hours after COA.

all within a few seconds after 24 hrs run time, with the 2179 the most accurate.

quite a feat after 60-65 years.

Very nice watches here. Here's one from my collection that doesn't come to mind quickly when thinking of 30mm movement omegas but is one of the very best - a cal. 284 near mint Railmaster (ref. 2914) with 7077 bracelet (also came in its original box but sadly no papers):

On my top ten list. I would give my left nut..........um.......never mind. LOVE to have one!
