I’ve been on a hunt for a 2639 and just stumbled onto this thread today. What a great wealth of info here. Thanks everyone. Keep the pictures coming! As soon as locate and lock down a good one I’ll post it up here.

Can the cal. 23.4sc play here -- Omega's first center second hand movement? The watch is circa 1936, and branded, "Feldenheimer" -- a high end jeweler located in Oregon during the first half of the last century.

This thread is about watches fitting the 30mm-movement. Cal 30, 260, 280, etc...
Yours should have a 26.5 or so.

Really interesting thread and some great looking watches here.

Here is my 30T2 SC passed on to me by my Dad - he wore it pretty much everyday from when it was passed to him in the 1970s by his father. I always remember being in awe of the smooth sweeping second hand.

It is a 1940s 2391-1 case. I haven't seen the same face on the thread (or anywhere else) . It looks to be in good condition for its age, I don't know if it has ever been restored or replaced?

Sadly it doesn't run at the moment, and it's one of the few watches on this thread that I wouldn't wear myself - I'm not a fan of the gold plate unfortunately. Not sure whether to polish it off, re-case it, or just store it away and treat myself to a different Omega!

Be asured, this dial is all original - nice watch! 👍

If it was not your father´s I would try to convince you to sell it to me.

I call dibs anyway
