Hi , while scrolling through eBay today i came across this unique box and thought about sharing it with you .
The first thing I noticed was the unique symbol on the outside and from a quick research i found it is "Coat of arms of Bahrain "
Which i believe came with one of the omega's that features either this symbol or "SHEIKH ISA BIN SALMAN AL KHALIFA" portrait .
If i am wrong so please correct me .
Unfortunately the shipping to my country is way too much , but maybe some of you could be interested in buying it .

Constellations from that era almost always had boxes with the “Constellation” name inside.

That box might have gone with a different model with a ruler’s picture. Just not that watch.

I'm wondering what the community thinks about this one that I picked up on eBay over the weekend. The seller thinks that the wood is mahogany and the corner fittings are brass. The seller accepts returns, so I took a chance. I went through all 30 pages of this thread and found some boxes that look similar, but not identical. There is no Omega logo on the outside of the box so far as I can tell, but the logo on the inside of the lid certainly looks correct. So what say you, OF? Legit or not, and if legit, best guess as to what era the box is from and which model it was used for?

Not too vintage yet but I absolutely love this one. Spacesuit material box that my x-33 came in. The red felt is falling apart faster than any other omega box I've owned. I had to put the wiping cloth, cards and hang tag into a baggie to keep them clean. I kept my watch in it for a long time but can't any more.

+1 on the marine chronometer idea. Maybe an oversized marine pocket watch chronometer.

Any idea of the purpose of this box, it's really big, the size of the big Speedmaster black suitcase.

No idea but probably for several watch or something that come with accessories

First of all great piece!

I would think of it as a dealer window display piece or something that was given to Omega dealers to display watches in store

Incoming Seamaster Chronometer
Don’t see many Seamaster boxes, nor green ones

Now I need the watch…..

First you need the missing insert to hold the watch 😀

Unfortunately most of these boxes on offer miss the insert...

I think that one (plus the insert) is this one:

Yep, thank you. I passed it on to another OF member who owns the correct watch to go with the box. I bought it as a curiosity and can say that it’s beautifully made.

Does anyone have historical information on this Omega box? Perhaps what the inner looks like? I have a 1959 jumbo Connie 14395 and would love to finish this box out. Thank you in advance.

I saw a picture of an Omega Olympic presentation box and decided to make my own insert to treat my 14395 1 SC. What do you think?
