Let me see your Omega Quartz

If you have an Omega with Quartz movement, I'd love to see it - especially if you're wearing it.

I just bought my first Omega - an AT 220.10.41.21.03.001. I begrudgingly picked it because I wanted a quartz but given that the 2517.80 that I really wanted was only about $1K less, I went for the 8900. I only own one other automatic that I rarely wear, and I think I don't wear it more often because I find it annoying to have to wind it up to get it going every time I decide to use it. (I have a watch case at home that holds 16 watches. Between mine and my wife's watch collection, several watches are sharing pillows so no room for a watch winder). Also, the horizontal blue teak face on the 8900 mesmerized me enough to get me to splurge the extra grand.

I'm warming up to the AT 8900 very fast, to the point I'm getting the Omega "bug." I'd really like to add a quartz to the collection, either for weekend warrior wear or for seldom occasions. I like the 2517 but can't decide on black or silver dial. The 2518 is also nice, but I don't know if it would feel too small. Since I'm just starting to learn about the Omega line, I'd like to see what else is available out there in quartz. Internet pictures don't help much, especially in gauging how different sizes wear on the wrist.

That said, I'd greatly appreciate you sharing pictures of yours, and what models they are.

Welcome

Please post pictures so we know what style of Omega Quartz you wear.

I've found the 20-30 seconds each day I have to waste to wind my watch pretty annoying, too.(add sarcasm emoticon HERE)

For my first Omega, I got an automatic. Aqua Terra 41mm blue dial with the horizontal teak pattern

A 1990s Constellation (396.1070 cal 1438) and my first Omega watch. Given to me by my father for my 18th birthday...back a while now.

Sadly, I don't wear it much these days as I have too many other Omegas to choose from. It makes an occasional appearance!
