My newest baby...

Just arrived for almost six months in the spa.

it was very damage, case in 18 kt gold with a lot of impacts, and movement very dirty.

Does it not look very much like the Czech made Prim 0111? (Sorry, mixed Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia in my last post). That's the one I was thinking of in terms of east block copy.

Found the Prim listed as based on the Lip R25. That explains a lot.

 

This device is actually pretty rare on R 25. The one I have shown is a high quality version from a 18K gold watch.

The two calibers looks very similar indeed!

As many others, I Lip calibers have been copied in USSR. What is less usual is that Lip woked with the USSR and sold several copirights, technics and even sent people to train Soviet engineers. A short story here (but it is in French): http://watchesz.free.fr/mfa/lip_au_pays_des_soviets.htm

That could pretty well explain the likeness of those two calibers.
