Lefties are children of the devil.

But I'm married to one so I better not say that out loud. My lovely wife writes lefty but uses tools righty, as well as wearing watches, so I really don't know what to make of it.... 👎

😲😁

You're in for a surprise more often than you think, a lot of lefties wear their watch on the the left, I wear mine on the right and I'm a rightie...

À lot of people don't wear watches anymore, not sure if the general public would care or even notice.
A lot of the general public had their face stuffed in a phone and so would be a meager opponent lol

There are other ways to determine their strong side...

I wear my watches on my left hand and I am a Left handed Irish Roman Catholic which is pretty far to the left 😀 my right hand is used for cutting meat with my knife and putting the car into gear and few other minor tasks.

The majority of left handers are at least partially ambidextrous. In a right handed world, we really have no choice if we are to function.

I’m left handed and wear my watch on my right wrist. As all other left handers know, I am also a member of a secret society and our goal is nothing short of world domination. We are tired of having to use wrongly configured school desks and scissors as well as suffering a thousand other daily indignities in this right handed society. Right handers, you are on notice: your reign of terror will soon end and your right handed grade school children will be forced to write with their left hand!
My father was one of those forced to use his right hand to write.

Me too. And as a result I am now ambidextrous, but returned to writing with my left hand after my mother confronted my elementary school principal and advised him that her son was going to write with the hand of his own choosing. One of nature’s truths: there is nothing more dangerous than a mother protecting her children.

That's for sure. Saw enough of that when I was growing up. Her other faults aside, you didn't mess with the kids or mama was going to raise some hell.

When I went to school in Malaysia around 1982 (I was around 5 at the time) they had a bamboe stick in the corner to correct your posture/writing hand forcefully😲. Luckily I only spent a year and a half in school before going leaving to Holland. My kid brother was scared of the stories about school, he was lucky we went to Holland before he was old enough to start school.

Still a lefty.

I can use either hand as easily as the other. My doctor says that means I'm ambivalent, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.

My mother too, had her knuckles of her left hand rapped with a ruler if she was caught writing with it. What a messed up situation.
I remember going to guitar lessons as a kid and being told I was holding the guitar upside down, never learned, pity I didn't know about Jimi Hendrix then.

I do not recall ever thinking about it.
I do recall thinking about the few who wear a watch on both wrists at the same time, IE Buzz Aldren.

Team,

Had a great response after my last post so wanted to discuss something I had been thinking about for the past couple days. I am lefty so I wear watch on my right hand. I know I am in the minority....so question to the broader group do you ever think anything is wrong when someone is wearing a watch on their right hand?
My spouse is right handed and she prefers to wear the watch on her right hand anyway. No big deal. It's just preferrence.

I am right hander but play golf with my left hand, which is very unusual 😀

Get on with it!

I am mainly right handed but deal cards as a leftie. My grandmother taught me to play cards (cribbage) and she was left-handed.

I am a lefty, I wear mine on my right hand, as does my young lefty son. Given that lefthandedness expresses perfect alignment with the cosmos, anyone who notices your watch as worn properly on the right wrist is, no doubt, only gawping with envy. Just smile upon them, and move on.

I'm right handed and i always wear my watches on my right hand.

I started wearing watches on my right hand since i was 6 y.o. I remember myself as i child, that i couldn't stand the weight of the watch on my left hand.

I never had any issues by wearing the watches on my right hand. I also feel that by wearing the watch on the right hand i always protect the crown and the pushers.

I also like that i take my Speedies out of the wrist in order to wind them and admire them...
