I really hope there will be two a 50th anniversary Apollo 17 versions, one in steel, one in gold, and a 50th Apollo Soyuz. The later might be withheld given the geopolitical tensions however. Let’s hope for a better world.

It looks like #SpeedyTuesday 6 December 2022 might be the day !
Originally planned to launch on December 6, 1972 ... Apollo 17 launched on 7 December 1972 the latest time at which a launch could have occurred in the orbital window to reach the Moon.
(Remember Apollo 17 was the only night launch of the manned lunar space program !)

Paid a visit to the OB in Geneva (by the way, they literally had EVERYTHING there). I was told to expect a December event...so, the wait begins...

Yes, but not displayed 😉. I saw so many of the platinum pieces...all the new novelties from the past year! They told me to coordinate with them in the future when I visit, & they will set up a factory tour! I'm a lucky dude!

Omega dropped on their IG that today’s the A17 anniversary and how the Speedmaster landed on the moon. Hopefully new watch reveal will happen this week. If not then I don’t think there will be an A17 watch.

Omega OB told me VERY likely something will drop. Watch out for Raynald’s Instagram stories.

True that, but Omega seems to be in the mode of releasing more watches at the mid-five digit price level, i.e., $35k to $50k+. I'd be surprised if it's anything in the $10k range. But we will know soon enough.
