Ladies vintage omegas?

I am looking to learn more about and purchase one of the less collectible women's vintage Omega.

I had a tiny Omega cocktail watch in white gold with all original parts that wore surprisingly casually. I picked it up very inexpensively at an antique a few year ago. It ran like a tank. I think I got it serviced when I first bought it, and after that it was pretty much good to go. It was manual, I believe cal 484.

Unfortunately, the original leather strap gave way and it disappeared from my wrist and hasn't turned up. I have to admit I'm heartbroken.

I haven't found anything exactly the same online, although there are lots of reasonably priced small vintage omegas, and I am feeling overwhelmed.

I am a verrry minor low value watch collector and am a bit out of practice because, to be honest, I was happy with my small scale collection.

I know they're not as collectable or popular here, but anyone have any tips for smaller vintage ladies watches? Also would love listing recs since they don't seem to come up on the listing thread, but no expectations.

I'd really like to find a piece that will run well without a lot of babying, probably manual. Stainless steel would be fine. Marked crown is important to me. I'm really not looking to spend much, probably under $500.

Here is the sadly missing watch.

I don't know if the band is original, but it was old, marked Camille Fournet and had a singed buckle.

Unfortunately when it broke, I trusted a watchmaker who glued it and told me it would hold 😭 but c'est la vie.

Hi there

I think you have a perfect budget to find really nice lady watches (I bought 5 vintage watches to my wife and only one was just above 500 and she likes them all). Look for the ones you like on ebay and come here to check them (with good pictures) before buying.

unless boxed and papers they never sell for more then scrap

I do intend to pay for service, but the little manual omega ran for years after an initial service, whereas other vintage watches I've had just seemed a lot more finicky, particularly automatics, and I don't have a great watchmaker local to me anymore, so they wind up just sitting in ten drawer.

There is a nice Omega DeVille model for $225 with fancy crystal. 17 mm sized case

Based on what I saw on Ebay. This looks like the best at that price. Seller has 100% sales record

Like these. All 14–karat gold. The round one is a Sapphette with pastel blue tinted crystal creating a halo effect around the facetted perimeter. Belong to my missus.
