I begin: my wife alters between these She also has a Seamaster ref 14389, subsec, s/s, 1959, with tropical dial on a pink strap and a s/s Dynamic cal 565, on a bracelet.
My wife will cut something off my body if she sees me anywhere near her or her watches with a camera...any watch reference has been banned from the house for the near and possibly mid term future.
She also has a tiny citizen I got her in college, and my old Timex Ironman I got issued at Navigator training. She is not as into watches as me, so we tend to get her more affordable pieces to save money for other jewelry for her.
16030 Datejust Midsize Seamaster auto (Sellers picture and before cleaning and service). She wears it on a Bonetto rubber strap. And the only one she has chosen and bought herself. She wears it on a black leather NATO. She also used to get to borrow some of my vintage Connies but it had to stop. She suffers from what I have chosen to call klockolepsi (translated to watcholeptic - sort of). It is a syndrome that makes her right wrist (she wears watches on the right) seek contact with concrete or stone walls. It happened every time...as if it was totally out of her control.
I gave her the choice and this is what she chose. She's not into watches, but she lets me have my fun. Honestly, I think it looks fantastic on her! Sometimes it's the simple things.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer, vintage Omega DeVille, and she steals my pink/red gold 1946 JLC once in a while.
Wish I'd thought of this actually. I had a Movado SE before I got seriously into watches and I sold it...could've had her wear it. Ironically, we're pretty much the same wrist size.
