Just bought my missus a 30mm Aqua Terra quartz to go with her Tudor/Bremont/Longines/Tag Heuer collection.
I don't know whether I'm lucky that she shares my love of watches or not ??
Anybody elses partners into watches and what do they like/wear?
When we first met in 1985 her watches were tiny little things about 15mm dia. but obviously as you get older a bigger watch is more use.

My wife has a lady’s SMP and a Tissot. I plan to buy her an AT for her 50th which is in 4 years time.

My wife also has a 30mm Aqua Terra quartz watch, as well as a Cartier Tank solo. She has a smattering of other watches that she has purchased — a Steinhart diver with a white pearl dial, a new Tissot Seastar midsize, and a vintage Bulova tank. But she mostly wears the AT and the Tank.

If I recall correctly all the ladies watches were around 15 mm back in the 80's.
My wife has shared a bit of an interest since we first got together and notices watches that people are wearing more than I do. So I suppose she's more of a watch watcher in some respects than I will ever be.
Her big deal watch is a lovely Rolex 31mm DJ on a Jubilee and she absolutely adores it. We were looking for ages for that something special watch and we looked at just about everything that was available. I tried to get her interested in the equivalent Omega but the diamonds on the dial weren't substantial enough and the watch was too thick so the Rolex came out on top.
Prior to us getting together her watch was a slightly smaller Tissot quartz.

That’s a very nice gift. I was a bit surprised when I saw ladies speedmasters advertised at 38.5mm. It was an “official” omega advertisement which I can’t locate but on chrono 24 a quick search showed me a ladies 38mm speedmaster. I did not realize ladies watches ran at that size, is that sexist of me? My wife certainly couldn’t wear that but she is petite. Actually I’ll find something 38mm see if she can wear it comfortably

My missus notices more watches than I do, especially on TV.
I bought her a Tudor 1926 with diamonds when I took early retirement at xmas 2019.
I set the time on it and the year after bought her a Longines Conquest quartz with a lovely blue dial and applied indices.
Last xmas she bought herself a Longines Evidenza automatic in green and before that I'd also got her a Bremont solo 34.

I think 34mm is about the maximum my missus can get away with, maybe 36mm.
She took a 34mm Tag Heuer 2000 off me as I wasn't wearing it and now has her eyes on my Airking which doesnt get mush wrist time

The AT is a class act and I could see my missus liking the tank.
Which model is her AT?

The nicest ladies Omega at the moment IMO is the 38mm Speedmaster in Sedena gold with diamonds.

I was hoping hers would arrive today but it hasn't.
Have you got any pics please ?

Just happen to have one. No wrist shot, I’m afraid.

I didn't think the movement looked pukka but having looked at the 4016 it does.📖

It's a Cal. 4561. What is the serial number on the watch?

92462324 and thanks for looking .
I was trying to find a pic of a Cal 4561 but couldn't, the smaller 4016 was the nearest I could find.
