Now this was not quite expected - although it's only a single watch reissue rather than the resurrection of the entire brand. Still, official photos look absolutely stunning. These are what I've pulled off the official page on their website, but there's more goodness to be had with their interactive scroll-down webpage on the new release.

Looks like pretty accurate reissue but I still prefer 1st KS reissue (scvn001).

Why not get the original? They are readily available, and prices are still pretty low.

For 3k4 i would aim for vintage grand. Still comes down to people's choice.

To be honest these vintage watch re-editions can be cool, especially if they're true to the original like this one, but I think the price/quality of these isn't optimal. The movement in this watch can be found in a presage half the price and isn't worth this pricing at all.

Watch looks cool, but isn't worth the money in my opinion. Same goes for a lot of other vintage inspired watches.

I actually recently wrote a blog about this if you're interested: https://smoothseconds.com/vintage-watch-re-editions/

I like the idea you took the time to make a blog. Is this something new you have been doing?

They did a nice job with that watch, but the price point does feel strange. Re-issues are more interesting to me when the originals are either unavailable or outrageously expensive. Or maybe if there were a major technological advance incorporated.

Thank you! Yes, I started a couple weeks ago. I'm a big fan of (mainly vintage) watches and I noticed there wasn't really a hub for vintage watch information anywhere, only subsections on other blogs/forums. So I created one and have been blogging there, focusing purely on vintage watches. We have been thinking about adding a marketplace for just vintage watches aswell.
