Looks like it, but I'm not sure if the diamonds are original.

Thanks Kyle....it is claimed that that it is real and the diamonds on the strap were a later add on. Due to the condition of the end links and some other small details......I took it first off to be a fake but did not want to be mistaken,,,,,these can be tricky I realize....much appreciated.

The bracelet IMO isn't original to the watch either, notice how the curve of the endlink doesn't fit the curve of the watch case? I'd say its a Day-Date bracelet that's been re-used after modification. I think the dots protruding from the dial on the inside of the diamonds are likely the holes where the previous stick markers /were/ before someone removed them and installed the diamond markers.

All in all, there's less original Rolex there than there is aftermarket crap.

It was posted on another forum and it was quickly attacked to be a fake......I sensed it was real so brought it over here for some out-sourced opinions so to speak.

I'm not the bet at spotting fake Rolexes unless they're completely obvious, but I'd say that dial and hands are original and probably the case too.

That thing is so fugly that I could care less if any part of it was real.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Rolex movement inside either.
