Gilt Zenith Compur, Refinished?

Wondering what y'all think, refinished or original?

I know I've seen a similar model under UG before, but cannot for the life of me find it now. I'm pretty sure it had the same square 12 and 6 markers too.

Seller says maybe refinished. Maybe I'm naive, but it looks original to me? The outer minutes track with the serif numerals is so crisp, I find it hard to imagine it is refinished. Or am I just being hopeful?

Key thing is the serial. And this one may have a reference

Looks good to me too. How big is it without crown?

Me neither but the print quality is not very high. I have data on 5 Zenith Compurs with black dial but none similar to this one

32mm, without the crown

Mark, are you referring to the low print quality of the ZENITH and COMPUR branding? yeah, it's definitely not as nice as the numerals.

I don't know the serial. Are you suggesting to date it via the serial?

I have a large database. If I know the serial I can look for close comparables

On a side note, the crystal is currently mineral (and glued in). Probably not original I imagine?

Other 5621 I know is white. Couple of other black dials with same design. No real close serials unfortunately
