Just back from stabilization: ‘64 SM300 🍁

Just picked this 165.024 up from my watchmaker after getting the hands professionally stabilized.

There was a tiny bit of lume loss starting, and I wanted to protect the movement from stray flakes while preserving the completely original dial and handset.

For those who have stabilized original hands, did you notice a shift in color tone under different lighting, or did it hold perfectly true to the original patina? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I have always had the stabilization done to the back of the hands and didn’t notice any significant change from the front.
