I have a soft spot for clocks, even though I don't own any (yet) worth mentioning. Stumbled on this recently and thought it actually warranted the overused "stunning" description. I want one! I guess this is an LE re-issue of an original PO1 Reutter Atmos?

I’d love one, this in particular. My wife would gut me.

After seeing this I looked up the originals from the ‘30s: they sell for closer to 30k in good condition it seems. So this is a bargain!

You can get one for much less if you don't mind waiting 2-3 years to have it serviced.

I wouldn't mind waiting but I have a feeling "much less" is still way too much for one of these....

Weird - the hands play with yr mind on the time...partic the hr hand... it almost functions as a GMT for those that want a "set" 6 hr GMT

OK, I don't have any data on the earliest of models, but newer ones come up at auction all the time for as little as US$500 and frequently get passed over.

Later as in the LE from the 90s, or the originals from way back? Either way that’s great news and I will be keeping an eye out.

The key with these is the design ... there are way more brass ones out there than chrome...
Art Deco is cool...
Brass from the 50's isn't
Just my view

Disagree.
Sure.... that's cool....when was that made?
(I was talking about your basic "stock standard" 50's-70's brass Atmos that endlessly comes up on ebay for 1000 bucks )...
