    Hi guys
I've been sent some pics of a JLC supposedly from the 60s. Firstly the dial is clearly a redial though what I cant seem to find any information on is the fact that it uses (with exception of the rotor) an undecorated AS1681 movement I have never known JLC to outsource movements though my knowledge on the brand is very limited.

Mayhe I am wrong and JLC went through a period of cutting manufacturing costs

Please find the pics attached. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!
    HH

I don't like this one at all... my opinion is its a fake.

However, JLC did use AS auto movements in the 70s.

Jaeger LeCoultre did use a Valjoux 72 once upon a time.

Yeah, that's about as much a real JLC as the watch my ex-brother picked up in Shanghi is a real Submariner.

This confirms my suspicions. Thank you all!
