··Ash @ ΩFThewatchlady I know what you mean, that noted watch design plagiarist Gerald Genta used to do the same thing:

so much for innovative design! Same designer different companies how pathetic.
Good idea, but there's probably too much metal around the sim holder for a tiny NFC to work from that location. That's why it's in the top section of the iPhone6, with a larger antenna that's close to where it'll be pressed up against the point-of-sale transmitter.
Oh, and they want to sell new phones.
I'm still on a 4S 😀
I still have an 8gb iPhone 4. Now I have a reason to upgrade...
To the 5S. The 6 is too dammed big (both of them) and at $99 the 16GB 5S is finally a sweet deal.
Too damn big? This is the first Iphone I am considering buying. I will not torture my eyes just for a sleek case design. (..yeah cicindela, I will not buy reading glass either.... I am that cheap 😜). I only make exception for perusing those tiny fonts on Connie dial.

Nice balanced article today in the National Post (Canada, I think).

Yeah, we've found that amusing too. There's not that many Windows Phones hitting ΩF, but the majority of them are MSFT employees. We weren't joking.
We're hoping one of them can hook us up with some hardware to test our new in-house forums platform on WP8/Surface. There's no easy way to run Windows Phone or Surface in a virtual machine, so nothing ΩF related is ever tested there.
I am somewhat fond of WP8, but the marketshare of Windows mobile devices is so tiny that we've been trying to figure out who our "Surface guy" was. 😁
