OK. I’ll play. All these recently added to the collection. Certina today in the post. And all below the stated threshold.
The Leobe is wierd. Check the bezel! There is another thread on the forum on why it might be like that.
Would love to find a bezel for the Heavy Duty if anyone has one - PM me please.
SeaPearl is a super example but the Certina has got to me - blued hands, big face, running like a champ. Signed crown and unpolished case. Result indeed.
Yep that Elgin for $3 is gonna be hard to beat. 😁

Wyler Heavy Duty / Lifeguard and the Zodiac GMT are both odd sizes. I have never successfully found a bezel to fit. The only success I've had is with a donor watch.
I'm even in the market for a Heavy Duty bezel. It's on my list.
Nice haul! Dibs on the Seapearl
Yea you can have the Seapearl as your taste is up your bippy. The clear winner is the big faced Certina. Those spectacular art-deco numerals are the bee's knees. 😁
Does the Zodiac Aerospace GMT bezel fit the Wyler? That would be very useful to know! Any image of what I’m actually looking for on the Wyler would be very helpful. I’d assumed it was just a plain chromed steel one. Like this one.
So, strictly the price I paid was over £50. But, it arrived with the movement broken and after a refund from the gentlemanly seller to cover the repair, this came in below!
It won’t let me hit the like button more than once!
Wearing this Croton “Acurator” today. It was one of seven watches included in an auction lot I purchased for under $50. The watch is as I bought it, save I swapped out the metal flex bracelet it came with for the leather strap shown in the photos.
