isofranes look good only on thick watches . For example an isofrane on a 2254.50 does not look nice , it overpowers the watch

Another thread resurrection!

Were Omega branded isofrane straps ever available?

I’ve seen a few around but wasn’t sure if they were genuine

I have a couple (20 and 22mm) but don't particularly like the way it doesn't wrap around the curve of my wrist as well as I'd iike, wishing it to be softer. So, instead it squeezes the side or my wide flat wrist.

Yea it definitely does that but I felt it was actually helpful with heavier watch heads like my Seamaster Pro Chrono Diver where the side gripping kept the head in place on top instead of letting it slide around which annoys me more

These two have been my summers favourites to wear, and yes, the orange really pops. At some point i realised i hadn’t been wearing any others for a while. Great review @dsio, it convinced me getting these Isofranes.

Mine was the same when I first fitted it, quite stiff and uncomfortable, but after a couple of weeks the rubber softens and now it's the most comfortable strap I have.

I actually still have a yellow isofrane on my DOXA Poseidon LE, and it does seem to stay in place as does the blue 22mm on my Ti Planet Ocean 9300. But with that Planet Ocean 9300 the isofrane seems to squeeze my wrist at the sides in an uncomfortable way. My fresh 20mm black isofrane doesn't seem to work well with my WatchCo SM300, since not only does it squeeze the sides of my wrist but it doesn't keep the watch centered either.

I tried a ToxicNato Isofrane type strap and for the money they are superb.

Wearing a Crafter Blue Universal on a Seiko 6309-7040 now, also an Isofrane type strap. I just find it hard to justify that kind of money on a rubber strap.

I gave an orange isofrane to a very good friend for his Breitling superocean, he loved it..... right up until the screw in the buckle fell out.
