Watchmutt this is nothing new, TRF periodically goes down, its just the way it is. It will be back, always is.
Fortunately I have Omegas too. So I can take a little vacation here in the Omega forum. By the way, I like the look and feel of this forum.

Think its been about 8 hours now, looks like a simple unix permission or webserver config problem that should be a 5 minute fix to be honest, but at 1,600+ views this thread gets a lot of traffic every time TRF goes down. That said welcome to any new members, always nice to have you =)
I like (and use) TRF. Unfortunately, almost all of their problems are caused by sheer incompetence. There's really no nice way to put it.
Yes there is a pretty nice crowd over there, for the most part. I know they all are in pain when the Rolex forum goes down, even though they know it's going to happen.
Looks like they've been suffering from another DDOS attack - can't imagine that's much fun to deal with
Most of their members use WUS's Rolex forum as a back-up clubhouse. I've never bothered with TRF because I don't do Rolex anymore. I remember the first time I checked it out, and there was a thread full of members waxing poetic about their love for their watches. That did it for me.
