What do you guys think?! Franken?!
Seems to me that beside the obviously swapped bezel even the hands have been changed...

I wonder if 3100 $ as asking price would still be a good buy?!

Sold as ref 3592.50... cal 863...

My nephew came to visit from Sweden and I gave him a f300 constellation chronometer with waffle dial, so if you see a new member asking about the value of above watch let me know ☺
Wish I could have seen that one!

Hi everyone, I came across this PO 2201.50 on a local online pre-owned market.

The exterior and dial looks alright to me, the seller also claimed this watch was purchased 5 years ago with a 2500D movement in it, but there is no box and paper. What do you guys think about it? Should I pick it up?

Thanks!
ZL

Looks like a fine omega with 2500C inside.
The seller claimed it's a 2500D inside, hmmmm... Any idea when did Omega start using 2500D instead of 2500C?

The general assumption is if the serial number is higher than 8525XXXX - watch should have 2500D revision.

I see, thanks! Let me ask the seller about the serial number

Update: the seller replied that the first 4 digits of the serial number is 8480, hmmm I gonna ask him to deal at swatch SC and check the movement before transaction. If he refuses I would pass…

Is it me or does the tip of the second hand look like it has faded quite a bit to this pale orange color? Reminds me of what happened to my 2531.80, but it took much more than 5 years... but again, it is not like I lived in a very sunny region of the world. 👎

I stay in Singapore, with the sunlight here, colours fades fairly fast if it's constantly exposed to sunlight

Hi guys, real or fake?

Fake would be my bet, no accent on the tachymeter E...

Thanks. Are u sure? In swatch group they told me its „older version”
Omega doesn’t use “registered model”. Breitling does. Bracelet is wrong in many ways. Swatch group may be correct in that it is an older fake version.😉
