It's called the Omega Fakemaster 2015. It's not a real Omega, basically. Just a very bad wanna be fake.
More likely a Chinese movement, thus the shock protection. Wandolec Specials don't usually have that.
OK here is a good one... I know the answer... I came across this looking at gold reduced on ebay as I was curious.
May I present you the all new Basel World 2017 Seaspeedster PO Professional Chrono (already reported).:
Hi all. I just received this watch through an eBay purchase: Seamster 2532.20. The seller was reputable and claimed to be the only owner. They have the card from the AD they bought it from in 1999, and the original box and kit, but no pictograph card or serial number card. I've noticed there is no serial number on the lug either as I see on most Seamasters. Is this normal?? I though Omega always makes the serial visible someplace. Any info would be appreciated. Please let me know if you need more photos.
I think Omega were putting the serial number on the lug long before this model was introduced. Judging by the warranty card that came with the watch when it was sold, it came from a grey market dealer who removed the serial number from the lug. What Omega AD ever sold a watch with a warranty card like the one shown?
Can someone shine some more light? The other side of the warranty card shows the name of the seller: New Watch Co in Houston. They appear to have since gone out of business. Let me note: I've looked at photos of other examples of this model online (old sales threads, etc) and none of them appear to show serial numbers on the lugs. Also, wouldn't there be evidence of the removed engraving? These lugs are pristine.
Correction: I can see that one lug indeed is different- the number was definitely removed. Should I care about this? I plan on keeping and wearing it indefinitely so as long as it's real I'm fine with that.
I see a lot of info about Omega apparently not being willing to service such watches? Is this accurate?
