Yes! The ‘traditional’ version with hesalite and printed logo is now very nicely updated with the metas 3861 and step dial. Not to mention the bracelet with decent taper. Looking good!

Nice job Omega, I don’t think you could be overly disappointed if you’d just got a 1861. The new one adds plenty for enthusiasts without deviating too much.

I can’t say I’d be lining up for a 321 unless I had a huge love for straight lugs (or the movement itself)

applied logo
Sapphire
Ceramic bezel
Step dial

it’s a lot extra for a movement....

Bezel is not ceramic. Btw we don’t know if 3861 is qualified by NASA or they just put the text there to keep historical reference

I believe it doesn’t have to be qualified by NASA (as in the 60s) other than the criteria for qualification to be specified by NASA to METAS who could perform the qualification...or that’s what I recall answered in a Q&A session about this back when the world was normal. But as usual, it may be wrong info...

Surely having "Flight Qualified By Nasa...", if it is not actually flight qualified, breaks some false advertising decree or other?

If it is not I propose we take a class action lawsuit, and force a display case back.

You probably remember the same Hodinkee article that I do: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/o...-11-50th-anniversary-limited-edition-in-depth

Wow a minty DON for everyone now! I'm glad I didn't buy that tatty Speedy for it's perfect DON last month now. This shakes up the vintage market quite a bit.

I was kind of hoping they would bring back the 220 misprint bezel

AML for the sapphire but not for the hesalite? Am I wrong to be a little disappointed that the hesalite will be stuck with the printed logo?

Wouldn’t have minded a ceramic bezel, but otherwise I like it!

The bracelet looks like a modern revamp of the 1479. Can't wait to see it in person! It's a definite purchase for me next year. Especially happy it looks like the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary bracelet will also fit this new Moonwatch perfectly.

13.18mm thick!? Such a drastic change. Maybe Omega really is listening and making thinner watches going forward. I currently don't own a regular Speedy Pro but that will need to change with this watch.

According to the leaked information, ceramic bezel remains reserved for the 321 Ed White model. So almost 8000 euro difference for the 321 movement and the ceramic bezel.
