Well, whether the impressions are or aren't Salazar stamps doesn't really matter. The consensus here is that the watch is an original example in very good condition. If the price is right, I would buy it.

Sounds about right I’d say. Fixed asking prices tend to be much higher as people think a solid gold watch must be expensive, but it’s about in line with other results for similar pieces I‘d say. Great value, imo.

Great value with many of the good gold watches but no way near melt value IMO.

14k gold looks to be 36USD / gram today (and this is not the price you get from your jeweler).
This means the watch should have 23,8gram of gold to have a gold value of 860USD, I would be suprised if this has over 10grams TBH
