I am new here and just getting into watches. I wanted to make my first purchase on a decent mechanical. I came across this Omega Geneve and I wanted to get opinions on wether or not it was authentic. I took a video as the website its listed on doesn't allow me to grab the photos off of it and then screen capped detailed parts . Thanks in advance!

So you think the dial is original and it is not a fake? I saw you mentioned something about South Korea in your article
The starburst red / copper dial in the article is the same as the one you have posted here. Whether the price makes sense is another question but the dial is fine.

Looking at $525 for the price. I see them mostly going for around $500ish now

That’s dealer rates, you can get them a fair bit lower off ebay if you’re patient. Keep in mind it will likely need a service either way.

the main draw to it is the color of the face. I haven't seen any other ones like that listed yet.

They do turn up but are less common, sometimes they’re referred to as copper, brown, chocolate or red but they’re all the same thing just described differently depending on the lighting. If it’s the dial you want, it is real and is one of the less common ones along with the starburst blue so it’s not unreasonable.
